Ivan Mance, 3 yıllık sözleşme ile Kulübümüzün yeni Sportif Direktörü olarak futbol şubesinin başına geçmek üzere göreve başladı.

4 Şubat 1983 Hırvatistan doğumlu olan Ivan, eski bir kaleci ve Hırvatistan'ı uluslararası alanda genç takımlar düzeyinde temsil etti.

Futbolculuk kariyerinin sona ermesinin ardından HNK Rijeka'da çalıştığı 8,5 yılda önce scouting direktörü ardından da sportif direktör olarak önemli başarılara imza attı. 

Bu süre zarfında HNK Rijeka, 2017 yılında Hırvatistan'ın en üst seviyesi olan HNL'de ilk lig şampiyonluğunu ve 4 Hırvatistan Kupası’nı kazanarak kulüp tarihinin en başarılı yıllarını geçirdi. Ayrıca, Ivan Mance, HNK Rijeka’nın Avrupa Ligi grup aşamalarında 4 kez mücadele etmesine önderlik etti.

Ivan, 2021 yılında Pafos FC'ye katıldı ve kulübün tarihindeki en başarılı sezonunu geçirerek ilk kez Championship playofflarına kalmasına yardımcı oldu.

Ivan Mance has been appointed as the new Sporting Director of Göztepe SK. He signed a 3-year contract and will be leading the football department of the club.

Born on February 4, 1983 in Croatia, Ivan Mance is a former goalkeeper and represented Croatia at youth international level.

After his playing career came to an end, he achieved significant success as a scouting director and later as a sporting director in the eight and a half years he worked at HNK Rijeka. 

During this period, HNK Rijeka enjoyed the most successful years in the club's history, including winning their first ever league title in 2017 as well as winning four Croatian Cup titles. Ivan Mance also led HNK Rijeka to competing in the group stages of the Europa League four times.

In 2021, Ivan Mance joined Pafos FC and helped the club achieve its most successful season in its history, finishing in the Championship playoffs for the first time.

Commenting on the appoinment, the new President of Göztepe SK, Rasmus Ankersen, said:
